{ Tempting Typo Tattoo }

I came across an article on CMD+SHIFT design Blog, showcasing some stunning typo tattoos. It is so tempting tat I am thinking of getting one done!

This is the most interesting tattoo: to have a "TO-DO" List tattooed on ur arms...hmmm with lines for you to write on. It's like constantly having a notepad with you. Oh, but where is the pen?

I like how the Red Stars matches with the font chosen

Some fans of the Famous HELVETICA & UNIVERS

My favourite of the lot: look at how dynamic it is. Excellent usage of size!

{ Singapore Biennale'08 }

It's the time again, after the successful inaugural Singapore Biennale 2006....The Singapore Biennale 2008 starts from 11 Sept - 16 Nov. As a volunteer for this special arts festival, I had the privilege to attend the Sneak Preview of the Singapore Biennale as well as to meet up with some of the international artists involved in the festival...

Background on Singapore Biennale 2008:

With 66 artists and art collectives from more than 35 countries and regions, this tightly curated show presents the best of both Asian and international art practices. From emerging artists to established art icons, it is strongly believe that their presence in Singapore Biennale 2008 will open a whole new dialogue about contemporary art in Singapore as they reflect on this year's theme: WONDER.

"WONDER" is a feeling of surprise and admiration caused by something beautiful, unexpected or unfamiliar and as a verb, it is not only to "feel curious" or "desire to know", but also to "feel doubt".

Keeping to this definition above, the title and theme of WONDER calls for us to question and be curious. Yet at the same time, to let ourselves be surprised, awed, tantalized, challenged or simply informed by what we can experience through contemporary art as an aperture to the world.

Here's a sneak preview at the Singapore Biennale 2008 before it's official opening....
