Feeling abit low after hearing about the death of French-born American sculptor, Louise Bourgeois. Yet another inspiring female artist left us.
Pity.
It was her 2008 sales of a 2.4m spider that made her the best-paid living woman artist around, after a buyer paid US$4.5 million for it.
My close encounter with her infamous Maman (giant-sized spider sculpture) has left a deep image in my mind. And I was especially grateful that I am able to come close with the spider. :)May you have a smooth trip to heaven, Louise.
